Jean-Baptiste Arnout was a French painter, draughtsman, and engraver. Arnout studied in Dijon and Paris; he was one of the first French professional lithographers. He worked in Joseph Lemercier’s studio in Paris and on Russian commissions for Italian publisher Giuseppe Daziaro. Jean-Baptiste Arnout contributed landscapes and architectural views of towns in France, Italy and Belgium to the Paris Salon.
